While acraftyhouse.com may have been quiet over the past couple days, I have been quite busy trying to get my life organized. My mom is here for a week (yes, one entire week!) to help me with the kids while I play a little catch up and take care of things -- things that are just hard to do without the help of parents or in-laws around. It's hard to raise kids without family in town but we are lucky to have parents just 6 hours away. There is a lot on my To Do list for the week, and while a lot of those items have to do with doctor appointments for me and the kids, most of the items have to do with organization. So far, I've organized the pantry and M's clothes, I still have my clothes to reorganize, and my biggest challenge: THE CRAFT ROOM. I am all over the place with my crafts and with a small house, I've run into some trouble with having crafts all over the place. And, I always get quick ideas, start them, and then don't finish, so I just need to come up with a good system for keeping everything straight. I did end up taking over our office on the first floor (my husband just finally gave in and has come to terms with it not being a "library" -- books have been replaced by yarn) and need to really make the room speak crafts.... I wanted to share some of my craft organization inspiration..... Wish me luck!
