My little princess is turning three in ten days (woo hoo!) so I've been very busy behind the scenes putting together her cupcake themed party. We will be decorating chef hats, aprons, and cupcakes and there will be a hot chocolate/coffee bar for the kids and adults. I've been doing a little bit each night in hopes of actually being prepared for something! To give you a sneak peak (and don't worry, I will have MUCH more about the party as we get closer and beyond), I wanted to share a crochet coffee sleeve pattern, or coffee cozy as some of you call it. I created a VERY quick pattern today that will allow me to create about 30 of these (yes, I said 30) so that the kids and grownups can each have a sleeve to accompany their hot chocolate or coffee during the party and they can take these home with them too. This pattern is super simple and very quick to allow you to make these in large quantities for parties. Make these to match your party's color theme -- your guests will love it!

Instructions:
Row 1: With a Size K (6.5 mm) crochet hook, and your worsted weight yarn, CH 22, SL ST into first CH to form a loop (be careful not to twist)
Row 2: CH1, HDC in each CH around, SL ST into the beginning CH1 space (22 HDCs)
Row 3: CH1, turn work (I like to turn work so that the pattern looks like it would if it were crocheted flat), HDC in each HDC around, SL ST into the beginning CH1 space (22 HDCs)
Row 4 - 6: Continue Row 3, finish off
Abbreviations:
CH = Chain
HDC = Half Double Crochet
SL ST = Slip Stitch
Beautiful - very simple but look fantastic!
