Wow..... what a day! We feel so lucky to have been able to celebrate Madeleine's 3rd birthday with great friends and family over cupcakes, crafts, and hot chocolate. Now that the kids have come down off of their sugar highs and have crashed under the covers in bed, I can finally catch my breath after a busy last couple of weeks and share pictures of the party. It was so fun to prepare for the party, but I have to say, seeing everything in action today was much more exciting. All of the hard work and prep time really paid off as we got to see the kids dive into decorating their aprons, chef hats, and of course, their cupcakes. The coffee and hot chocolate bar was a big hit as well.... there really wasn't any way to pack more sugar and chocolate into the afternoon! More to come on the party prep, but here are some pics from today....
